The Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman has remained a classic and timeless design for over 50 years. The exceptional quality and comfort of the Eames Lounge completes the package.Originally designed in 1956, this classic design is built to last. The chair and ottoman are hand assembled with a wood shell that is made of 7-ply cherry, walnut or santos palisander, a rich and exotic looking wood that is more sustainable than the original Brazilian rosewood. Herman Miller now also uses 24% sustainable materials in the chair and ottoman. This furniture is also 29% recyclable, not that it would be going anywhere in the next century.Rich leather upholstery is available in an assortment of classic colors. The leather is chrome free and made in Austria.
